    Audience

    Most days, I'm running around my house yelling to nobody but my dog, "WHO is the audience?!" It's the Big Question at the heart of all marketing projects. I always start here, with a strategy grounded in audience. (Which is just a fancy word for "people.")

    Action

    Buy tickets, make a donation, enroll in college, subscribe to an email list—we're always asking our audience to DO something. I bring to your table 15 years of experience concepting multichannel marketing campaigns that ignite measurable action.

    Emotion

    The best way to get audiences to take action? Make them FEEL something. When I develop brand voice guidelines or craft audience-facing copy, I use specific language and narrative techniques to evoke resonant emotions. Otherwise, we're just sayin' stuff.
