“Whatever shall I write upon my prop typewriter?”

I contribute humor writing to The New Yorker and McSweeney’s. I caption cartoons with my artist-collaborator Lia Strasser. My short humor collection is “Personal Space.” I’m part of the live storytelling group Yarnslingers. I’m a freelance copywriter for brands in the entertainment and nonprofit realms. I’ve received fellowships from MacDowell, Fulbright and NYSCA/NYFA. I got my BA in Theater from SUNY Geneseo and my MA in Creative Writing from Dublin City University. I live in Sullivan County, NY.
